Allan Richard Beckman

Allan Beckman, the son of Albert J. and Malinda (Janssen) Beckman, was born on December 8, 1943 in Fulda, MN.  He grew up on the farm and attended school in Fulda, graduating in 1961. Allan was united in marriage to Jane Flor on November 26, 1961 at the Pfingsten Immanuel Lutheran Church rural Fulda, MN.  After their marriage they lived and farmed south of Fulda where they raised their three children. They were later divorced, but remained close friends. He then moved into Fulda where he has continued to call home. Allan passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at the Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD at the age of 69.  He was a member of Pfingsten Immanuel Lutheran Church rural Fulda. Allan was a past member ot the Fulda Co-op Board. He enjoyed riding his trike, shooting sporting clays, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his three children, Bruce (Vonda) Beckman of Finlayson, MN, Terri (Brian) Pelzel of Heron Lake, MN and Paul (Vicki) Beckman of Sioux City IA; 10 grandchildren, Bailey, Shelby, Delaney, Becky, Jessie, Whitney, Cory, Mandy, Latosha and Logan; one great-grandchild, Keaton; brother-in-law, Ervin Nath of Fulda, MN and niece, Michelle Nath of Fulda, MN.  He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Melba Nath and an infant sister.

Funeral Services

Pfingsten Immanuel Lutheran Church rural Fulda, MN at 10:30 AM on Monday, July 15, 2013 with the Rev. Amy Swenson officiating.  The organist is Marlene Sievers.   Interment at Pfingsten Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery rural Fulda, MN.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 PM Sunday at the Totzke Funeral Home in Fulda and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
