Lori Lynne Samp

Lori Samp, the daughter of Ernest and Carol (Johnson) Dittman, was born on January 29, 1962 in Worthington, MN. She grew up on a farm near Dundee, MN and attended school in Fulda, MN graduating in 1980. Lori was united in marriage to William “Bill” Samp on August 24, 1985. After their marriage they lived in rural Fulda. This union was blessed with the birth of their only child, Taylor Glenn, on December 8, 1992. The family moved to Eden Prairie, MN on October 1, 1994 and on April 1, 2005 they purchased their current home. Lori passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, MN at the age of 55. Lori enjoyed crocheting, sewing, singing and reading.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Samp of Eden Prairie, MN; son, Taylor Samp of Eden Prairie, MN; sister, Lana (Kurt) Grimmius of Dundee, MN and nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and infant brother, Randy Dittman.

Funeral Services

Totzke Funeral Home Fulda, MN at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 with Rev. Karla Kirkeby officiating. Interment at the First Lutheran Cemetery Dundee, MN.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Totzke Funeral Home in Fulda on Wednesday.
