Mary Ann Hebig
Mary Ann Hebig, the daughter of Peter and Lela (Harvey) Kelly, was born on June 9, 1931 in Eyota, MN. She grew up in Fulda, MN where she attended school graduating from the Fulda High School. She then worked as a dental assistant for Dr. McGlinn in Fulda. Mary Ann was united in marriage to Orville Hebig on July 2, 1957 at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Fulda. After their marriage they lived in Lismore, MN and later moved to a farm near Lismore. Mary Ann moved to Fulda, MN after Orville passed away in December 2003. Mary Ann passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD at the age of 85. She was a member of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Fulda and a past member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Lismore where she was a member of the W.C.C.W. She was also a member of the Fulda Pink Ladies. Mary Ann enjoyed playing cards, reading, crossword puzzles, having coffee and visiting with her family.
Survivors include her children, Vivian (Mark) Heitkamp of Adrian, MN, Vonnie Cole (Mike Gluth) of Granite Falls, MN, Kay (Steve) Klein of Adrian, MN, Kris (Doug) Darby of Odessa, TX, Keith (Lois) Hebig of Luverne, MN, Carol (Bob) Schreier of Currie, MN and Wendy (Jason) Donkersloot of Worthington; 23 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Ronald (Marilyn) Kelly of Osawatomie, KS and sister-in-law, Dotty Kelly of Columbus, OH, MN. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and 2 brothers, Francis and Jim Kelly.
Funeral Services
St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church Fulda, MN at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 with Msgr. R. Paul Heiting officiating. The organist is Dana Hogan. The song leader is Sheila Crowley. Special music by Angie Cole-Olson. The pallbearers are her grandsons, Travis Heitkamp, Andy Heitkamp, Nick Cole, Landen Cole, Austen Cole and Brayden Donkersloot. Honorary pallbearers are Jamie Enevoldsen, Jenna Heitkamp, Angie Cole-Olson, Danielle Nuy, Melissa Cole, Nicole Klein, Natasha Klein, Heather Sanford, Jason Darby, Brianne Woltmann, Mikell Hebig, Morgan Hebig, Sarah Plantz, Ashley Buysse, Amber Snyder, Whitney Donkersloot and Bryn Donkersloot. Interment at St. Anthony’s Cemetery Lismore, MN.
Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 7 PM at the St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Fulda and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. The Totzke Funeral Home in Fulda is assisting the family with arrangements.
