Mary was united in marriage to Fred Holtrop on March 3, 1936 at the Bosch family farm. After their marriage they lived and farmed in northwest Iowa until 1958 when they moved to Fulda, MN. Together they farmed until their retirement in 1970 and moved into Fulda. Mary remained at home after Fred passed away in February of 1998.
