Robert Gustave Knorr

Robert “Bob” Knorr, the son of Gustave and Wilhemena (Kammeier) Knorr, was born on April 4, 1933 in Brewster, MN. Their family moved to a farm in Lime Creek, MN when he was a young boy. Bob grew up on the family farm and attended Lime Creek Country School and graduated from the Fulda High School. He served in the U.S. Armed Services and was based in Germany. Upon returning home, he worked at the Fulda Creamery, K & T Gas Co., Ferrell Gas and as part time Maintenance at Maple View Estates during his retirement. Bob was united in marriage to Deloris Phillips Whitaker on October 9, 1955 at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Parsonage in Fulda, MN. After their marriage they lived in Fulda. Bob passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at the Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Fulda at the age of 84. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Fulda. His hobbies included woodworking, hunting, fishing, gardening, and driving around the DNR areas looking for wildlife and he also built his own home. Bob’s greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren

Survivors include his three children, Michael (Joy) Knorr of Fulda, MN, Mark (Debra) Knorr of Fulda, MN and Lori Knorr of Faribault, MN; 5 grandchildren, Ryan (Kelsey) Knorr of Van Meter, IA, Paul Knorr of Fulda, MN, Reid Knorr of Englewood, CO, Scott (Jessica) Knorr of Luverne, MN and Liza (Robert) Fury of Lakeville, MN; 5 great-grandchildren, Linkon, Mariah and Sage Knorr and Rush and Sloan Fury and 2 sisters, Joyce Schweigert of Fulda, MN and Lola Schwarz of Duluth, MN. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, 2 sisters, Wilma Noble and Darleen Cale and 7 brothers, Bill, Walt, Earl, Leonard, Gus, Donald and Fred Knorr.

Funeral services were previously held. The Totzke Funeral Home In Fulda, MN assisted the family with arrangements.
