Natalie Anne Krohn
Natalie Krohn was born on August 6, 2003 in Worthington, Minnesota to Jason and Jennifer Schoon Krohn. She attended West Elementary in Slayton and was currently in the 3rd grade. Natalie was member of The Dance Academy in Worthington. Natalie passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the Murray County Medical Center in Slayton at the age of 9. She was a member of St. Ann’s Church in Slayton, MN. Natalie enjoyed spending time with her dog, Fifi, horseback riding, playing with her many dolls, and attending her dad’s races. Natalie loved spending time with her family, grandparents, and her niece, Bella.
Survivors include her parents, Jason and Jenny Krohn, sister, Samantha Krohn and friend, Rodney Sanders, brother, Aaron Krohn, and niece, Bella all of Slayton, MN, maternal grandparents, Roy and Marge Schoon of Slayton, MN, paternal grandparents, Marti Haynes and friend, Randy Mosley of Slayton, MN, and Rev. Rollin Haynes of Slayton, MN, uncles, Brian and Sue Schoon, Scott and Ellen Krohn and Terry and Virginia Krohn of Slayton, MN, aunt, Jennifer and Michael Daugs and seven cousins. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Billy Krohn.
Funeral Services
St. Ann’s Church in Slayton, MN on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. James Seitz officiating. The organist is Judy Andrews with special music by Nikki Cheskie and Pam Roth. The pallbearers are Brian Schoon, Scott Krohn, Michael Daugs, and Rodney Sanders. Interment is at Slayton Memorial Gardens, Slayton, MN.
Visitation will on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at St. Ann’s Church in Slayton from 4-7 p.m. and also one hour prior to the services at St. Ann’s Church on Thursday. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.

Natalie was the bright spot at the end of my school day as I supervised dismissal. As I waited at the door for students, she would come down the hallway with a big smile anxious to be picked up from school. We had a short conversation almost every day and I truly enjoyed her! There are no words to express my sadness for your family. Please know that Natalie touched many lives in her short stay on earth and now she will be the one waiting at Heaven's door for everyone to get there.

Dear Krohn family, May the next few days be bearable on you. I too lost my son (but at a much younger age) and have a glimpse of the pain you are feeling right now. Please know that people are praying for you and that your daughter is in an amazing place with God now. God gives us the promise that he will take wonderful care of our little ones until the day we see them again in heaven. In time you will feel better.....not forget, not ever be the same person again, but you will learn to adapt to the "life of a parent of an angel." You are still parents, just parents of an angel....and this is an important job! If you are in need of a fellow parent of an angel to chat with ever please contact me............ my dad is buried at the same cemetery so I will make sure to visit your daughter next time I am there and say a sweet prayer for her family. Also we found Faiths Lodge (located in WI) a great retreat and resource to look to shortly after our son passed away. When you get the strength and the time is right look into it. With caring thoughts for your entire family, God bless

Dearest Krohn Family.... I know you don't know our family but I read the story of your loss of Natalie and felt I needed to lift you up in prayer. We too lost our youngest daughter Heather, we are a racing family, farm and our precious Heather was a dancer and taught 3-4 year olds at her studio. I want you to know we will be praying for you each day, each week, and everyone after that. Your new journey has just begun... Please let us know if we can help...
