Deborah “Deb” Marie Hagen

Deb Hagen was born on March 22, 1963 in Mountain View, California to Ernest and Juliana “Julie” Weidert Hagen.  Deb spent one year in California before the family moved to Iona, MN.  In 1966 the family moved to Slayton, MN where Deb graduated from Slayton High School.  She then attended Southwest State in Marshall, MN.  Deb held various jobs over the years always making her home in Slayton.  Deb was a very artistic person and always will to stop and talk with people.  Due to failing health Deb moved to Our House Hospice Home in Slayton on June 20, 2019 and passed away there on Thursday July 4, 2019 at the age of 56.  Deb was a member of St. Ann’s Church.  She also was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America.  Deb enjoyed reading and animals of all kinds.

Survivors include her brother, Lonnie Hagen of Currie, MN and aunts, uncles and cousins.  She is preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Services

St. Ann’s Church in Slayton, MN on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Thien Nguyen officiating.  The organist is Judy Andrew.  The song leader is Rita Lear.  The pallbearers are Randy Tims, John Delong, Kyle Delong, Travis Delong, Randy Wynia, and Jason Wynia.  Interment is at Slayton Memorial Gardens in Slayton, MN.  In lieu of flowers Memorial Masses are requested to the Catholic Church of donors choice.
