Donna Jean (Jeffers) Kontz

Donna Jean Kontz was born April 16, 1948 in Worthington, Minnesota to Donald and Lillian Hartman Jeffers.  She grew up near St. Killian, MN and graduated from Adrian High School.  On August 13, 1967 she and Ronald Kontz were married at St. Killian Catholic Church.  Following their marriage they farmed near St. Killian and Donna worked at Campbell Soup Company in Worthington.  She later went to work for Gengler Dairy near Iona and was currently working at Walmart in Worthington.  Donna passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD at the age of 70.  She was a former member of St. Killian Catholic Church.  Donna enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, bird watching, cooking, and horses.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald Kontz Sr. of Lismore, MN, three children Ronald Kontz Jr. of Lismore, MN, Randy Kontz of Elgin, IA and Jody Buffington and her husband, Tom of Mapleton, MN, 10 grandchildren, two siblings, Julie and Bill Balk of Wilmont, MN, and Darren Jeffers of St. Kilian, MN, and one sister-in-law, Carol Jeffers of Worthington, MN.  She is preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter, Michelle, infant son, Russell, and two brothers, Jim and Jerry Jeffers.  A private family services is planned.
