Message from Eunice Christensen

Miss Ree was my second grade teacher, in District 111, Murray County.(Dovray). I am thinking the year was 1942-43, but I am not sure. I remember she taught us this song....."Hop, hop, hop! Go and never stop. Where it's smooth or where it's stony, hop along my little pony. Hop, hop, hop! Go and never stop." I am now 80 years old, and I still remember this song! May you all cherish happy memories of Gladys.

My parents (Gerald & Harriet Velde) enjoyed visiting with Gladys & Clarence at the Annual Ree picnic as did I. It was fun to talk about our Norwegian heritage and look at old family pictures plus trying to name/remember relatives! My father’s maternal grandma ( Bestemor) was Lisa Ree Kahlberg. May you rejoice in precious memories of Gladys.
