Linda Louise Landgren

Linda Landgren, the daughter of Louis and Dora (Handy) Biegler, was born on July 2, 1949 in Worthington, MN. She grew up on a farm near Iona, MN and attended school in Fulda. Linda was united in marriage to John Landgren on December 2, 1972 in Slayton, MN. After their marriage they lived in Verdi, MN. They were later divorced and in 1981 Linda moved to Fulda, MN. She later opened a day care and was able to stay at home with her children as they grew up. Over the years, Linda could be found working at Legends in Slayton or Brian’s in Fulda as a way to get some adult socializing away from the day care. She retired in 2014 and remained at her home. Linda passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018 at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD at the age of 68. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Fulda. Linda was part of the Fulda “Church” ladies who would get together and discuss the day’s happenings. Linda enjoyed going to all the Fulda school events and watching her nieces and nephews sporting events. What she most loved was spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Kim Landgren and her fiancée, Bobby Wilson of Sioux Falls, SD and Mike (Heidi) Landgren of Fulda, MN; grandchildren, Tia, Teiondre, Takyrie and Traeh Wilson and Brody, Brayden and Brystol Landgren; brother, Bob (Trudy) Biegler of Iona, MN; nieces and nephew, Bobbi Jo (Larry) Gunnink, Shontai (Ted) Dierks and Greg Biegler; many cousins, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Pat Swenson.

Funeral Services

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Fulda, MN at 10:30 AM on Friday, February 9, 2018 with Rev. Shawn Ethridge officiating.  The organist is Loretta Gehl. The soloist is Nikki Cheski. The pallbearers are Trevor Gunnink, Cheeks Gunnink, Wade Gunnink, Thad Gunnink, Greg Biegler and Ted Dierks.

Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7 PM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Fulda and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. The Totzke Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
