Rozalind Rae Henry

Rozalind Henry was born in November 2, 1956 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to John and Constance Dady Henry.  She grew up in Minneapolis and graduated from high school there.  In 1988 she meet Duwayne LaValley who would become the love of her life. Rozalind and Duwayne moved to Iona, MN in 1993 when Fey Industries transferred them to the Edgerton plant.  Rozalind later worked at the Coop Convenient Store in Edgerton, Chandler Grocery Store in Chandler and Loops Dollar Store in Slayton.  She then took the job as City Clerk for Iona.  Rozalind passed away at her home in Iona on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the age of 60.  She enjoyed spending time with Duwayne and their cats, time on the computer, camping, music and animals.

Survivors include her partner, Duwayne LaValley of Iona, MN, one brother, Don Henry of Corona, CA; several nieces and nephews and their families as well as Duwayne’s family.  She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Patrick Henry.  Interment will be private.    

A gathering time for family and friends will be on Friday, April 14, 2017 at the Totzke Funeral Home in Slayton from 4-7 p.m.
