William van de Crommert, of rural Slayton, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2017. A native of the Netherlands, William and his wife, Bertha, immigrated to the United States, raising a family of six children on the farm. The couple resided on their own family farm north of Slayton since 1969. As William was faithful to Christ and the Catholic faith, a Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 7th, at 11:00 A.M at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Slayton, MN. Visitation will be two hours prior to the Mass, along with the recitation of the Holy Rosary. The burial will be held at St. Ann’s Cemetery in Slayton, immediately following the service. May William, and all the dearly departed of the van de Crommert and Visser families, rest in peace.
