Barbara “Barb” Jeanne Bullerman

Barb Bullerman was born on February 8, 1951, in Luverne, Minnesota to Berdell and Ione Kraetsch Bush.  She grew up in Hills, MN and graduated from Hills High School in 1969.  Barb then attended Spencer School of Business graduating in 1970. Following graduation Barb worked in the Rock County Assessor’s office in Luverne.  On December 4, 1976, she and Florian “Lorry” Bullerman were married at St. Adrian Church in Adrian, MN.  Following their marriage, they made their home in Adrian.  After Sheila started school Barb went to work as a Paraprofessional at the Adrian Public Schools.  She retired in 2014.  Barb passed away at her home in Adrian on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at the age of 74 with her family by her side.  She was a member of St. Adrian Church and was a member of the CCW.  Barb enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, visiting with family and friends on the phone, taking drives in the country with Lorry, and supporting grandchildren in their activities.

Survivors include her husband, Lorry Bullerman of Adrian, MN, daughter, Sheila (Brad) Grimmius of Worthington, MN, two grandchildren, Haley and Cade Grimmius, ten siblings and their spouses, James Bush of New Hope, MN, Camilla (Rodney) Verhey, Mary (Harvey) Metzger, and Tom (Sandy) Bush all of Hills, MN, Maureen (Gary) Helgeson of Beaver Creek, MN, Brad (Jill) Bush of Winsted, MN, Connie (Bob) Butcher of Holstein, IA, Coleen Martens of Hills, MN, Annette (Keith) Elbers of Hills, MN, and Melinda (Kent) Liesinger of Hartford, SD, one sister-in-law, Terese Peterburs of Mesa, AZ, and many nieces and nephews and their families.  She is preceded in death by her parents, parents-in-law, Florian and Olivia “Ollie” Bullerman, four brothers-in-law, Michael Hanson, Kevin Martens, Duane (Delores) Bullerman, and Leon Bullerman. 

Funeral Services

St. Adrian Church in Adrian, MN on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Rick Colletti officiating.  The organist is Mary Scheidt.  The song leaders are Kathy Burzlaff and Cindy Wolf.  The pallbearers are Dustin Verhey, Travis Helgeson, Eric Hanson, Gavin Hanson, Tyler Bush, Ethan Metzger, Jason Martens and Shaun Bush.  Interment is at St. Adrian Cemetery in Adrian, MN.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 14, 2025, at St. Adrian Church in Adrian, MN from 4-7 p.m. and one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday.  Totzke Funeral Home of Slayton is entrusted with arrangements.  To send condolences visit totzkefuneralhome.com
