Charmaine Rosette Heger
Charmaine Heger, the daughter of Bernard and Janice (Carlson) Ramert, was born on May 26, 1954 in Slayton, MN. She grew up on a farm east of Lime Creek, MN and attended St. Gabriel’s Catholic School and graduated from the Fulda High School. Charmaine was united in marriage to Larry Heger on September 6. 1975 at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Fulda. After their marriage they lived and farmed in rural Fulda and she worked at the Fulda Bakery. They continued to live on the farm after their retirement in 2018. Charmaine passed away on Monday, May 30, 2022 at the Murray County Medical Center in Slayton at the age of 68. She was a member of Solid Rock Church in Worthington, MN where she was part of Bible Study and was happy to be involved in church activities. Charmaine was part of 5 community plays in Fulda and was a master gardener. She enjoyed raising chickens, doing puzzles, playing the accordion, fishing, traveling (especially to Branson), cooking and baking and having people over to the house. Charmaine loved spending time with her grandkids and she loved her Lord.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Heger of Fulda, MN; daughter, Nicole (Barry) Hyronimus of Beresford, SD; 2 grandchildren, Cole Hyronimus and Ava Hyronimus both of Beresford, SD; mother, Janice Ramert of Lennox, SD and 2 sisters, Michele (Gary) Dougherty of Blue Springs, MO and Tonya (Art) Ringen of Lennox, SD. She is preceded in death by her father and brother, Charles Ramert.
Funeral Services
Solid Rock Church Worthington, MN at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 4, 2022 with Pastor Scott Peterson officiating.
Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 6 PM at the Solid Rock Church in Worthington and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. The Totzke Funeral Home in Fulda is assisting the family with arrangements. Send condolences online at www.totzkefuneralhome.com.
