Dawn Amundson, the daughter of James and Barbara (Evers) Amundson, was born on March 26, 1962 in Worthington, MN. She grew up on the family farm near Kinbrae, MN and graduated from the Fulda High School in 1980. She then attended Mankato State University. Dawn worked for Dairy Farmers of America for 30 years and loved traveling for her job. She held many positions, testing and inspecting cheese She worked there until her cancer took over and she was not able to live alone, and she moved back to the family farm to live with her sister Lisa and her family. Dawn passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at home at the age of 63. She loved to travel and everything Disney, especially Mickey Mouse.
Survivors include her 2 sisters, Brenda (Jay) Lanifer of Appleton, Maine and her daughter, Shantel (Henri) Cournoy-Pilote and their children Juliette and Arthur of Waterville, Maine and Lisa (Scott) Limmer of Kinbrae, MN and their children, James Limmer, Cordell Limmer and Andelina Limmer of Kinbrae, MN. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Donnie Kruger.
Interment will be at the Kinbrae Cemetery.
