Douglas Schipper Obituary

Douglas Gene Schipper, 83, of Dundee, Minnesota, passed away on December 23, 2025, in Worthington MN.

He was born on May 4, 1942, in Brewster MN, to Martin & Mildred (Christians) Schipper.

Doug had a fulfilling career owning many trucks. He had a love for trucks, trucking, and many stories to go with. After trucking, he worked for various local farmers. Doug was an active member of the First Lutheran Church of Dundee. His faith was an important aspect of his life. For 25 plus years, Doug and Mary would spend their winters at their place in Mission TX.

Doug was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by siblings Dennis (Karen) Schipper, Curtis (Twyla) Schipper, Sharon (Craig) Northouse, and Candis Gotmer; children Douglas (Jeni) Schipper, Penny (Brad) Chepa, Robin Livingston, David Jass, Scott Chepa, and Jodi (Shane) Rindfleisch along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Douglas was preceded in death by his wife Mary Schipper; parents Martin & Mildred Schipper; sisters Verona Franzen and Karen Huisman; and his daughter Kelli Kihlman.

Doug Schipper will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on through his family, friends, and the countless lives he touched throughout his lifetime.

The family will hold a visitation and funeral service.

The visitation will be on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 9:30-10:30 am at First Lutheran Church; Dundee, Minnesota with funeral service to follow at 10:30 am.
