Henry Calvin “Stub” Ysker
Henry “Stub” Ysker, the son of Henry George and Velda (Grunewald) Ysker, was born on March 27, 1959 in Westbrook, MN. He grew up in the Westbrook, Wilder and Butterfield areas and attended school. Henry was united in marriage to Loretta Gieselman on May 26, 1979 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Windom, MN. After their marriage they lived Butterfield for 5 years before moving to Mountain Lake, MN. In 2013 they moved to Windom, MN where they have made their home. Stub passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the Worthington Sanford Medical Center at the age of 61. Stub enjoyed tractors, camping, fishing, time with his brother, Butch and being with his grandkids.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta Ysker of Windom, MN; 4 children, Amy (Gary) Henson of Fulda, MN, Matt (Kris Notch) Ysker of Boyd, MN, Jessica (Alex) Hernandez of Windom, MN and Anthony (Catie) Ysker of Tea, SD; 13 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 5 siblings, Shirley Scott of Windom, MN, John Ysker of Mountain Lake, MN, JoAnn (Patrick) Flaherty of Butterfield, MN, Ernest (Sharon) Ysker of Mountain Lake, MN and Connie (Jim) VanDuker of Meadowlands, MN and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, David Ysker.
A private family service will be held at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church Fulda, MN at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 8, 2021 with Msgr. R. Paul Heiting officiating. Due to COVID-19 restrictions masks are required in the church and social distancing will be followed.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. The Totzke Funeral Home in Fulda is assisting the family with arrangements.
