Judith Ann Kass

Judy Kass, the daughter of Claud and Clara (Grandy) Anderson, was born on February 8, 1945 in Saint Cloud, MN. She graduated from the Magnolia High School. Judy then worked for Campbell Soup in Worthington, MN for 35 years until it closed in 1997. She was united in marriage to Arnold Kass on April 28, 1981. After their marriage they lived on a farm north of Heron Lake, MN. She worked for a number of years at SA in Windom. Judy passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023 at the Good Samaritan Society in Windom, MN at the age of 77. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Windom. Judy also belonged to the Dundee American Legion Auxiliary Post 386 where she was a 40 year member and served as president for 4 years. Over the years she enjoyed gardening, dancing, socializing but most of all she enjoyed reading romance novels. Judy always loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Arnold Kass of Heron Lake, MN; 3 stepchildren, Brian (Sonda) Kass of Dundee, MN, Jerry Kass of Dundee, MN and Deb (and significant other, Denis Janke) Arends of Windom, MN; 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Janice (Everett) Brandenburg of Luverne, MN and Joyce Oldre of Luverne, MN; other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, James Nelson and Hugh Anderson and stepdaughter, Diane Kass.

Funeral Services

St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church Windom, MN at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 10, 2023 with Fr. Pratap officiating.  The organist is Sandy Lund. The song leader is Nadine Forman. Interment will be at a later date at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery Dundee, MN.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. The Totzke Funeral Home in Fulda is assisting the family with arrangements.
