Kevin Johnson

Kevin Oliver Johnson, the son of Boyd and Helen (Spillman) Johnson, was born on December 5, 1956 in Worthington, MN. He grew up on the family farm north of Worthington and attended school in Worthington, graduating from the Worthington High School in 1975. Kevin was united in marriage to Amy Harstad in 1981 and they were later divorced. He lived in the Worthington area his entire life while he farmed, drove truck and worked for Drumm for 10 years. Kevin passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at his home in rural Worthington at the age of 67. He enjoyed farming, watching his son, Jeremy, race and spending time with his granddaughter and family.

Survivors include his son, Jeremy (Kaitlyn) Johnson of Worthington, MN; granddaughter, Natalee Johnson of Worthington, MN; brothers, Jim (Connie) Johnson of Reading, MN and Kim Johnson of Worthington, MN; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, infant sister, Debra Lee and grandparents.

Funeral Services

Solid Rock Assembly in Worthington, MN at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 with Rev. John Nau officiating. Special music provided by Theresa Widboom. The pallbearers are Noah Johnson, Reva Johnson, Erin Johnson, Eric Johnson, Adrian Schwaller and Kyle Johnson. Honorary pallbearers are Allyson Kleven, Katelyn Scholtes, Jackie Mangel and Michaela Johnson. Interment at Worthington Memorial Gardens Worthington, MN.

Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. The Totzke Funeral Home in Fulda is assisting the family with arrangements.
