Lisa Beth Grimmius

Lisa Grimmius was born on April 17, 1968 in Pipestone, Minnesota to Floyd and Betty Mesman Grimmius.  She grew up on the family farm near Chandler, MN.  In 1982 the family moved to Worthington, MN where Lisa graduated from Worthington High School.  Lisa worked as a nurse’s aid in area nursing homes for many years.  She was currently working at the Hill Top Inn Motel in Slayton, MN for her good friend, Gordy Eibensteiner.  Lisa passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 10, 2018 at the Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD at the age of 50. 

Survivors include her mother, Betty Grimmius of Slayton, MN, her five siblings and their spouses, Russell and Denise Grimmius of Salem, WI, Brenda and Doug Magnus of Sioux Falls, SD, DeAnn Grimmius and Dave Hehl of Brooklyn Park, MN, Sue and Jim Tutt of Lake Wilson, MN, and Earl Grimmius and Sandra Grimmius of Brandon, SD, several nieces and nephews, and special friend, Robert “ Bob” Swenson of Slayton, MN.  She is preceded in death by her father.

Memorial services will be at the Totzke Funeral Home in Slayton, MN on Monday, August 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Dave Hollis officiating.  Interment is at Highland Home Cemetery in Hadley, MN.   Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the Funeral Home on Monday.
