Sandra Lee Coon

Sandra Coon was born on August 10, 1952 in Troy, New York to George and Mary Grosebeck Weber.  She grew up and attended High School in Mechanicville, NY.  Sandra graduated from Hudson Community College.  Sandra later moved to Vermont where she worked as a machinist.  In 2005 Sandra moved to Currie, MN where she met her life partner, Greg Pommier.  Sandra passed away on Friday, December 13, 2019 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, MN at the age of 67.  She was a member of IHM Church in Currie, MN.  She also was a member of the Currie American Legion Auxiliary.  Sandra enjoyed camping, playing cards, traveling, doing crafts and jewelry making.

Survivors include her partner, Greg Pommier of Currie, MN, four children, Louis George Coon, John Coon, and Brian Coon all of Bennington, VT, and Dorothy Coon of Richmond, NH, 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and four siblings and their spouses, Colleen Clark of Wamego, KS, Michael and Mary Weber of Pownal, VT, George and Lacey Weber of Stillwater, NY, and Anthony and Anne Weber of Mechanicville, NY.  She is preceded in death by parents, and three brothers, Gary, Joseph, and Kenny Weber.

Memorial Services

IHM Church in Currie, MN on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. with Msgr. R. Paul Heiting officiating.  The organist is Patty LeClaire.  The song leader is Hollie Pommier.  Interment will be private.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at IHM Church in Currie from 4-6 p.m. and also one hour prior to the services at the church on Wednesday.
