In Loving Memory Of
Sharon Schultz
Sharon Lee (Muecke) Schultz passed away November 16, 2024, with her ever-devoted husband, Robert, of 59 years by her side in the Good Samaritan home in Westbrook MN.
Sharon was born September 18, 1940, to Madeline (Holm) and Walter Muecke in Slayton Minnesota. She was the third of seven children. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter Michelle, daughter-in-law Dana, brothers Gary and Ronnie, parents, and grandparents.
She is survived by her husband Robert, daughters Susan (Eric) and Cindy (Les), sons Allen (Selena) and Bill, granddaughter Alyssa, and grandson Dayton, brothers Walt Jr, Orian, and Dennis, and sister Trudy as well as many nephews and nieces.
Sharon loved her family and devoted her life to being a mother. She gave the biggest hugs and always ended every visit with “I love you. I’ll miss you.” She was a wonderful baker and never a day went by that she didn’t have a sweet treat with her family. She made the best sugar cookies and rhubarb crisp. She loved seeing her siblings and when healthy, would go to Slayton, MN almost weekly to see family members. She loved her pets Whisper and Tommy as well as her “fur” grandchildren. She enjoyed NASCAR and was a Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan. She liked to go to county fairs and watch her brother, Gary, race stock cars.
Sharon is best described as having a sparkling personality, both figuratively and literally, as she was known for wearing sparkly ball caps. She would smile from ear to ear when seeing people, whether she knew them or not. She was very social and very talkative. Nobody would be ignored if Sharon was in the room.
Sharon will be missed.
A memorial will be held on April 12, 2025, at Grace Lutheran Church in Westbrook MN.
