Sylvia Diane Disbrow

Sylvia Disbrow was born on May 8, 1942, in Bakersfield, California to Walter and Anna Marie Sylvia Klien McCormick.  She grew up in Lakewood, CA and graduated from Bellflower High School.  Sylvia made her home in California where she raised her two children and worked for Southern California Gas Company.  In 1994 she moved to Iona, MN where she and Langly Hughes made their home until 2010 when they moved to Lake Wilson, MN.  Sylvia passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD at the age of 80.

Survivors include her partner, Langley Hughes of Lake Wilson, MN, one son, Darrell and LaRae Disbrow of Pipestone, MN, and two grandsons, Noah Disbrow and John Mariani.  She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Donna Montes, granddaughter, Darla Anna Disbrow, and one brother, Walter McCormick.
