I would like to offer my condolences to the Petersen, Sitz family. 87 years is quite an accomplishment according to the Bible (Psalm 90:10) and I know Amy has left you with many precious memories and will be greatly missed. Hopefully scripture will give you comfort because our loving heavenly Father, Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) is promising us He will do away with man's worst enemy, death. This is found for us at Rev. 21: 4; "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." 1 Corinthians 15: 26 tells us: "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing."

My sincere sympathy to the family on this loss. I remember many happy times in Slayton with the Peterson family. My mom, Irene always loved the things they did together. They were good friends and now they can be together in heaven. Love and prayers are sent to all of you.

Sorry for your loss Tim. Although it is the natural order of things to lose an aging parent it is never easy. My prayers are for you and your family.

I used to work at the nursing home in Slayton and while I worked there, I became very close with Amy. Everyday I would sit down and talk to her about life and school and my dreams of college. She always had great advice and made me believe in myself. After I stopped working in Slayton, I would still go and visit Amy because she meant so much to me. She will be greatly missed by so many due to her kind spirit touching everyone she came in contact with! Sending love and prayers to the family of sweet Amy ❤️

I only worked there a short time but she was such a pleasure to take care of. Even when I back to my hospice job and came there she always knew who I was. Such a sweet lady. God Bless You Any you will be missed.
