So very sorry for your loss. Thinking of you today as you say, until we see you again. In Christ, there are no good byes. She lived a life well shared with those she loved best and that is a remarkable legacy.

Blanche was such a wonderful lady and I was lucky to work with her at the newspaper. She made working there so much fun and we all loved her! She even made me soup with gramma noodles for my birthday, needless to say we were a little bit late getting back to work. Then I found out she was friends with my mom, Lorraine, when she lived in Tyler, what a small world! She will be missed so much, but I have a feeling she is always watching over all of you, you'll know she's there.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother- She was such a long time character on Maple Ave- and St Ann's and "uptown" coffee girls. May your memories hold her close forever.

AS WE SAIL AWAY

Here we are on the shore of this world watching our loved one
set sail for another place.

They are on the boat and
as the boat leaves our shore it gets smaller and smaller
We stand on the shore and watch and wave and say
“Good bye” “we love you” “we will miss you”
As their boat gets smaller and disappears into the horizon we say,
“There they go”

On another shore there are groups of people
People who have made this very same journey.
They are standing and waiting
And they are gazing at the horizon.
Suddenly a small boat appears
It gets bigger and bigger as it approaches their shore.

Those people are standing there watching and waiting and saying

“Here they come”
