I'm sorry to hear of his passing. I'll always remember Mr Wilde for that sly smile on his face and his funny comebacks. He was a fun teacher and all the students loved him.

Shawn and family, I remember at the surprise 40th birthday party that Brenda gave me at the farm, your dad gave me 2 pounds of beef jerky from Lismore (I loved that stuff). I wondered why someone I really barely knew was giving me such a generous gift. It took me a while to realize that he didn't give me that because of who I was, He did it because of who he was. He was a giver.

I had Mr. Wilde as a teacher at Fulda High School. Mr. Wilde knew how to encourage me and knew that I had knowledge and ability within me. I loved the little magazine books we had in class and the stories he chose for us to read. I even enjoyed his little quizzes that he gave about them.
