My condolences to all of Herb's family. He lived across the alley from us for years, and he was the perfect neighbor. I think the words in the obituary are just right: "{he] was always there when anyone needed him. He had a great sense of humor and a warm heart.." That warm heart seems to have multiplied among you his family members! Mike has often been kind to me at the station. I remember playing a little baseball with Scott on the public school grounds. Jennifer and I had a speech course together in high school. Laurie was school mascot and sometimes gathered with her high school friends at her dad's place.

I am sure Herb is enjoying eternal rest now, free of any pain he experienced in this life. But he will enjoy eternity even more, someday, when all of you are reunited again.
