My sympathy goes out to Margaret’s family at this time! She was such an exceptional lady! In the last few years she had become such a good friend to my mom. Mom used to say, “If there was ever a person who will go instantly to Heaven when they die, it will be Margaret Short” I’m sure many family and friends, including my mom, were there to greet her when she passed. surely miss her. I saw her a month ago. we had coffee together.

Family of Margaret,

On Friday, after I con-celebrated the Funeral Mass for Chuck Platt, I drove to see Margaret. Hearing she was close to returning to the Lord, I wanted to pay my respects and anoint her with the "Last Rites". During my time in Slayton she was a dear lady that I had a unique bond with. We had good conversations and she was always complimentary. She was very generous with her time, talent and treasure. Church and God she adored and faithfulness ran deep. I will miss her. I will see her again. Rest in Peace Margaret Short. May the angels welcome you into paradise.
