To the Michelau family from the Joseph Olsem family, we are sorry for your loss. I briefly met mike last winter while fishing on Talcot lake. Mike actually grew up in the home that we currently live in, it is truly a small world! Go catch some big ones in the sky mike!

Dear Kendra, Heather and extended Michelau family, Sympathy and prayers streaming your way at the sudden lossof your dearly beloved Mike. He had a great sense of humor and always great to visit with. Our parents were friends that shared the love of going to dances together. I would babysit the Michelau children on these occasions. Rest in peace Mike. May precious memories sustain us now and always.

I met Mike 40 years ago when I was 8 years old and hunting with my dad , over that time I shared in Mikes good times and his bad times as he did mine and in that time his family became mine , our hunting tradition was something I looked forward to all year long and it didn't make a difference how we did hunting because the company was the most important thing, Mike, Kendra & Heather you will always be my family.
Rest In Peace my old friend you will never be forgotten

Kendra & Heather...my heart is so heavy thinking of you during this difficult time. When I worked with you way back in the 80's Kendra I knew you and Mike shared such a special life together.. No matter where I would see you two he always had kind words and talkative. I could tell he was gentle and loved and respected his family, friends, coworkers and hobbies so much. May god give you and Heather the strength to get through this. Hold tight to one another and cherish all those memories you have. Prayers and hugs... Julie Kellen

You graciously welcomed me into your life (and your garage) and patiently taught me how to walk a field for pheasant; never missing an opportunity to point-out how wild my hair was looking when I got out of my cot or the fact that you didn't have a beer. I'm a better person for having known you and words cannot express how much you will be missed. My love goes with you always.

Kendra, Heather, Alex and the rest of the family, we send our deepest sympathies. I am so glad we got to see him last week. He was one fantastic guy and life won't be the same without him. We are still having trouble even believing he is gone. Unfortunately, we will not be able to attend the services, our thoughts and prayers are with you though. Love to all

Kendra, I don't know what to say. I loved how your husband was a social "butterfly" and visited with everyone - never singled anyone out. He will surely be missed and I know that I will miss him when getting together with the Michelau family. Just know that I'm thinking of you and Heather and all the obstacles ahead of you. You will be in my prayers and thoughts in these coming days.

Kendra, Heather and family,
So sorry to hear of Mike's passing. It's a bit comforting that it occurred at the place he loved and often talked about. Mike was a great person and friend to many. He was very committed to his family and his employer , Maple Lawn. He was very proud of his accomplishments and was always ready for the next challenge. He was a loyal member of the Minnesota HeathCare Engineers Association and is where I met Mike. I have many fond memories of all the meetings and conventions and social times that Mike attended over the years.
He will be sadly missed .. With deepest sympathy and prayers.
