Rest in peace, uncle Homer. I regret that I didn't get to visit with you, aunt Mary Jean and my cousins on my last trip to Minnesota in 2001; I miss all of my Minnesota family; more and more, every year, and I will always remember how much you resembled your brother and my dad, Jay.

A "true gentleman" in every sense of the word. My Dad Vic Born and Homer were a great team at the Farmers Co-Op in Lake Wilson. Sending love, prayers and blessings to the Malmquist family.

Sorry about your lost from a member of his softball team in the 50's..
Got many loads of chicken feed formulated by Homer at the Elevator .
Did not know he was a deer hunter; did seem to remember he was hit in the face by shotgun pellets while peasant hunting.
