Merlyn Anderson 84 of Slayton, MN passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at the Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.  Visitation will be on Monday, April 20, 2026, at the Totzke Funeral Home in Slayton from 9:30 to 10:30.  Interment is at Slayton Memorial Gardens.  Military honors accorded by the Slayton American Legion Post.  To send condolences visit totzkefuneralhome.com

She graduated from Westbrook High School in 1951. On November 8, 1952, Bonnie was united in marriage to Clair Ackerman at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Currie, MN. Emil Czepa Jr. passed away on February 17, 2026 at the age of 91 surrounded by family. Emil was born on May 10th, 1934 on a farm northeast of Avoca, MN to Emil and Johanna (Popkes) Czepa. They moved to a farm southwest of Fulda in 1935 and he attended country school there for 4 years.
