Earl Arthur Kirchner

Earl Kirchner, the son of Arthur and Marie (Schnieder) Kirchner, was born on October 27, 1953 in Slayton, MN.  Earl grew up on the family farm near Avoca, MN.  He attended school in Fulda, graduating from the Fulda High School in 1971.  Earl remained on the farm and farmed with his brother, Gene. Earl passed away at the Our House Hospice Home in Slayton, MN on Monday, July 30, 2012 age of 58.  He was a member of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church Fulda, MN.  Earl enjoyed reading and loved going to auctions.  He also enjoyed spending time with his nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Survivors include his brother Gene Kirchner of Avoca, MN; sisters, Elaine (Wayne) Fenicle of Pipestone, MN, Jane (Dennis) Plaetz of Lucan, MN, Arlene (Gene) Bloemendaal of Pipestone, MN and Rita Kirchner of Slayton, MN; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services

St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 3, 2012 with the Fr. Andrew Vogel celebrating.  The organist is Mary Ann Boom. The song leader is Sheila Crowley.  The pallbearers are Scott Bloemendaal, Ross Fenicle, Bryan Bloemendaal, Chris Boeke, Craig Petersen and Gene Bloemendaal.  Interment at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Cemetery Fulda, MN.

Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7 PM with a 4:30 rosary and a 6:30 prayer service at the Totzke Funeral Home in Fulda and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
