We have many fond of memories of Maxine and the whole Pierson family. She was one of the reasons Slayton was such a wonderful place to live. She was a great lady.

What a great legacy Maxine left her family and Slayton. She was
such an important member of Christ
Lutheran Church and her columns in
the Murray County Herald were top
notch.
I have many memories of time spent with Sue and other friends enjoying wit, wisdom and good treats at the Pierson residence.

My prayers and sympathies are with you, Sue and all your family members. Treasure those memories!
Love and prayers, Shari

Sally, I'm so glad I had the opportunity to share your mother for 2 special weeks at Park Avenue after I broke my ankle in December, 2007. I ate at the table next to her's and she and Nell were so delightful and entertaining together. My own mother died 10 days ago, so I know the roller coaster ride you're experiencing - the fun memories, then the sense of loss, then the warm memories, etc. We can be glad we had such fantastic Moms to raise us. With much love, Ann A special hug to Brian!

Our sympathies are with all of you. We live in Maxine's neighborhood, and she would always stop to chat with us or our boys when out walking with Copie and Doug. Even with her poor eyesight, she didn't let that slow her down! She will be missed by many.

My smpathies to all the family.
I was a resident of Slayton for 40 years and my boys and myself delivered the Star Tribune to your parents. And of corce your Dad was my Dr. and your Mom took care of me several times after some difficult deliveries.
I use to stop and chat, and we would often meet on our walks.
She was a great lady.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to take care of your mother. It truly an honor to have opportunity to provide care for another nurse and to be trusted by her. She is a wonderful lady.
Peace be with you!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

I always had a wonderful visit with Max when I did her hair.
We always had many laughs and good times.
Even when she couldn't see very well she always told me that her hair looked nice !
We had many good visits about you kids and grandchildren and now we even get to see one on TV ! Way to go Tony! Max was proud of you all.
She loved to get her hair done and she was a joy to have come into the beauty salon.
She will be missed so much.

Cal and Sally: My heartfelt sympathy for your loss. She was such a neat lady, independent and a real character. I am so glad I had the opportunity to get to have her walk through my life.
