Dear Karen and Glenda,

I only just heard from my ex-husband, a long time friend of Bobs who lives on St Croix, of Bobs passing. I knew Bob when I lived on St Croix. He was such a kind sweet man and a very dear friend. Always that big smile and wonderful tales to tell. I am so sorry for your profound loss. Sharon

What a shock to hear that Bob had passed. It was great to connect with Bob this summer at the All School Reunion. We talked about our days lifeguarding at the Slayton Pool and SCUBA diving in the Caribbean. We lost a good man! John Davidson

I am so saddened by the loss of Bob.  I had the honor of knowing him only the past 2 or 3 years, but Bob made easy friends with everyone.  His smile lit up a room.  He had stories that would open your eyes wide with wonder and fear and then there were all the fun and silly ones.  He was a man who traveled a path many of us only dream of with all his travels and jobs he'd take on one after another.  He knew true freedom and his journeys far and wide were admired.  His life was remarkable though so short.  I wish I'd have gotten to know him even better.  I found him to be absolutely fascinating yet he told his life events so casually as if it were just another day on the job.  What a joy to have known him at all.  His last journey will be one which God will have to keep him busy and wondering.  What a privilege to know such a happy young man.

Glenda,

Bruce and I are so sorry to hear of you brother's passing.  It is always so sad to see someone so young having their life cut short.  Although we did not ever have the chance of meeting Bob, it looks like he led quite an adventurous life!  Our thoughts are with you and all of your family.

Having only known Bob for the last five years or so I can say he was one of my favorite people.  Whether it was helping him into to the car when he broke his leg or running into him locally I knew I could expect an upbeat attitude and  wide smile.  Bob and I shared many interesting and varied conversations and I'll miss that.  As a parent you must be very proud of what a really good guy your son was.  My wife Rhonda and I are both saddened by Bob's passing and hope only the best for you and your family.

To the family of Bobby Bose:  I just met him a couple years ago while in Slayton. His handsome face and happy disposition attracted me to him immediately. We exchanged numbers and talked when he was back from his adventures. I loved him immediately. I'm so sorry for your loss and am so sad ill never see him or talk to him again. Rest in peace, my dear friend.

Karen and Glenda (and family), we are so sorry to hear about the loss of your dear son and great brother.  May all your wonderful family memories and photos help get you through some of those sad days ahead.  It isn't easy losing a child nor a brother, but at least you know Bob is with his Dad and they will carry on together being the angels for all of you.  You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Karen, Glenda and family
Was shocked to hear about Bob.  And how fast everything went.  But what a blessing.  He didn't have to suffer through treatments and pain.  He was such a sweet guy, always a huge smile on his face, a smart comment and a huge laugh!  I am sure my Dad was right next to Gary greeting him at Heavens Gates.  Prayers for you all, for strength and comfort to get through these difficult days.

Mrs. Bose and Glenda,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Bob.    Bob and I shared many fond memories of our days at the Slayton Swimming Pool, and of course, the little brother of Glenda.    Over the many, many years, I would run into Bob while we were both home visiting family.   He and I always had a good laugh about "the good ol' days."      He had a kind heart and gentle soul.
Please accept my sympathy and know that I will miss seeing him when I'm in Slayton.

My dear friend Karen & Family,
I was out of town until late this afternoon and heard about Bob's death then John came shortly and he had just heard too we are both just sick for you & your family. Then I heard how very sick he was and knowing him he would have wanted it this way and not a long drawn out death, so we have to know he is in a much better place and he will be there waiting for us when we come. I bet he is having a good visit with his dad, grandparents, uncles and friends, can't you just hear then laughing and joking around??
When we think of it this way, God is good!
Love & prayers, John & Jane
