I have been trying to locate family from my dads side. This is the first thing I come across. I remember Aunt Rose very well. She was so funny and loving. I wish I could have seen her and the rest of siblings and grandma Fitch before they all passed.

Dear Gehl family,

He is Risen! He is Risen indeed! I praise the Lord alimighty for being with you during these past months as you coped with Rose's illness. Praise God that He gave you strength, as you met the challenges. And Praise God for when you were down, He lifted you up. I will continue to keep you in my prayers. God's Blessings!

PS. Can you imagine the Easter Rose had in heaven? Glorious! One day we'll be there too, but may God's arms be beneath you to support you and above you to bless you as you cope with the void that Rose left in your lives.

Loving the Lord and loving you.

To the family. Please accept my deepest condolences for the loss of you dear loved one. At this very difficult time may you find comfort in the beautiful promises recorded in God's word the Bible. At John chapter 5, verses 28 and 29, we read of an event that is very soon to take place. It tells us, "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which ALL those in the memorial tombs will hear his (Jesus Christ) voice and come out." What a wondreful time that will be. A time when we will have the opportunity to welcome our loved ones back to life, right here on a paradise earth. (Psalm 37:10, 11) May you draw comfort and find hope in your time of mourning from "the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all of our tribulation." (1 Corinthians 1:3, 4)

Our deepest sympathy goes out to your family. I remember all the fun we had in 4-H showing cattle!! I will never forget when your mom told Judy to be very carefull at the state fair, I told her you would be fine cause we had been there several times. Judy do you remember that long walk to the 4-H dorm and the stinky socks we found on your bunk and you said PEWWWWWEEEEE!! your mom also asked me about that boy Doug at the fair that Sheila had her eye on. I said don't worry its only our cousin. She always had kind words to say and would help anyone she could. She thought I was lost at the fair the year I met her and wouldn't let me out of her sight till my dad came. I sat on the show box. That is how I met her and never will I forget her kindness. You are all still very special to us.
God bless you, and know that Rose is still watching over with love.

Judy:
We are out of town and just read of your mom's passing. So sorry for your loss. My prayers are with your family through these difficult days. I know how hard it is to say goodbye to your mom but the comfort of seeing her again in heaven will ease the pain.
God does not take a person, He receives them to Him. This has been a big comfort to me and hope it is to you as well. Take care!

I'm so sorry for your loss. Rose was always so bubbly and had a smile for you. It's so hard when a parent dies. It's been 5 years since my mother passed away and I never stop missing her. Hang in there.
